This traditional smoked salmon is achieved by brining, portioning and hot-smoking our boneless, sushi-grade wild Alaskan sockeye filets. "Hot-smoked" is not a flavor; it simply means that carefully controlled heat was used in the smoking process to achieve tender, flaky salmon with a distinct smoky flavor that pairs well with wine, cheese, salad and more.   

Comes frozen, in ready-to-eat vacuum-packaged portions of 4-6 ounces each. Custom smoked by a nationally award winning smokehouse.

Ingredients: wild Alaskan sockeye salmon (fish), organic dark brown sugar, sea salt, natural wood smoke (contains no nitrates or preservatives)

Refrigeration: Keep frozen. Thaw under refrigeration. Once thawed, keep refrigerated at 38°F or below for safety. Once opened, use within 4 days.

    Wild Caught Tastes Better

    I've been getting salmon from Kwee-Jack for several years and, to me, the choice of where to buy your salmon is as clear as the Bristol Bay. Wild caught is for winners, farm raised is for fools -- Which would you rather be?

    Best Salmon I’ve Ever Eaten

    When wife and I heard about Kwee-Jack, we were immediately drawn to the story: this salmon is sustainably caught in small fishing boats (and it’s sushi grade for our poké bowls). I’m so delighted to report that we were beyond impressed. It tastes good no matter how it is prepared: grilled, roasted, raw, you name it. We’re looking forward to sharing it with more family in Minnesota in the years to come. My recommendation: order 20lb more than you think you need. The salmon fillets travel well and are a crowd pleaser!!

    It's Like I Never Tasted Salmon Before

    I just purchased this salmon for the first time. I picked up my share on Saturday, made a filet for dinner on Sunday, and enjoyed the last piece for lunch today over a bed of arugula with a lemon vinaigrette dressing . Wow. Every single bit has been divine, from piping hot and crispy-skinned on Sunday, through the reheated leftovers today. I cannot express how much better this was than any salmon I have ever had before - and I'm the person who goes to fine dining steakhouses and orders salmon. Salmon is my favorite protein and you just brought it to an entirely new level, salvaging a tiny piece of 2020 in the process. Now I'm just kicking myself that I didn't buy the halibut too, but I already have an alert on my calendar to purchase my shares early next year. Absolutely amazing. Oh! And even my steak loving husband who does not like salmon or fish of any kind tried a piece that I pan seared with a pesto crust and was shocked that he actually liked it - both taste and texture. Usually if one doesn't stop him, the other does. I just hope that doesn't mean I have to share with him now .... ;) Thank you so much for sharing your catch with us!
